    [...] Spindrift is celebrating the release of their new album Classic Soundtracks, Vol. 1 at Echoplex tomorrow (09/08/11).  They’ve invented and cornered the market of Psychelic Spaghetti-Western Space Rock over the last decade.  We’re not just saying that because we are personal friends/associates of the band (SwitchFlip head honcho D-How grew up and rocked many shows alongside an early incarnation of Kirkpatrick Thomas’ group).  Peep the cinematic soundscape in their new video, the theme of “Ghost Patrol“, directed by Jean Balest & Sam Barnett.  They’re using Stop Motion filming in this, which gives it the eerie and edgy vibe evoked by Spindrift’s psycho space jam.  Check’em out for the CD release party at The Echoplex in LA tomorrow, and the national tour following.   SwitchFlip Certified fo sho!
